How to use the calculator
- Select your province or territory. This determines the applicable GST, PST, or HST rate.
- Enter an amount. Enter the amount you want to calculate taxes on.
- Add tax. Press Add to add the applicable sales tax to the entered amount.
- Deduct tax. Press Deduct to subtract the applicable sales tax from the entered amount.
- Calculate included tax. Press % to determine how much sales tax is included in the entered amount.
- Add a tip. Use the Tip button to add a tip at any point during your calculation.
